Participants leave with one fine art print of their own work!
Participants are encouraged to bring challenging RAW files of their own images to work on. Computers will not be provided but participants with laptops should bring them. This seminar will be fast paced without alot of time for students to work on their own laptops. Participants without laptops will certainly get plenty out of this workshop and should also attend. Although we won’t have designated shooting time, participants may want to bring cameras and test various exposure concepts after class. Participants will leave each day with “homework” – the good kind!
Scott Martin is a fine art photographer and digital photography consultant. As the founder of Onsight, he has been working with digital photography since the 1980s and has been training photographers one-on-one and leading photography workshops since the early 90s though organizations like the Texas Photography Society and the Santa Fe Photography Workshops. With full-time devotion to on-location consulting for over a decade, his experience with a wide variety of imaging equipment, printers, papers, inks and applications allows him to consult with some of the most demanding photographers, pro labs, artists, designers and prepress professionals in the business. His classes are packed with enthusiasm and practical, real world suggestions. Scott used to sit on the edge of his seat waiting for each Photoshop upgrade but now does so with Lightroom.
Professional photographers and serious amateurs. A good working knowledge of computers and photography is required. Beginners are encouraged to take the 1 day seminar instead of this 3 day version.
This workshop was limited to 12 participants. No more spots are available but we are repeating this workshop throughout the year. Visit the Workshops page for a full schedule of workshops and seminars.
